2009 Domaine Marc-Antonin Blain Chassagne-Montrachet

Semi translucent dark red colour with a light brick red hue. The nose displays good lift with aromas of dark cherries alongside hints of strawberry and stewed plum overlaying some earthy cedar, leather and spice. Light to medium weight with a supple textural feel the palate possesses ripe dark cherry flavours over some ripe strawberry, cedar, earth and spice. Velvet smooth tannins. Aftertaste of ripe dark cherries, spicy cedar, earth and a touch of emerging leather.
