Tasting note: Matured in two Bourbon hogsheads and bottled in 2019 yielding 522 bottles. Light gold. Fresh cereals on the nose with dustings of cocoa and developing fruitiness. Grassy entry with effervescent spices. Lots of cocoa through the mid palate. The finish is oily, tangy and delicately fruity. No bitter notes. Enjoy this lovely grassy / herbaceous style uncut. Non chill filtered. 54% Alc./Vol.
Notes from Cadenheads... Nose: Pancakes with maple syrup and bacon. Gooseberries with nettles and chocolate powder. Flavour: Some dark chocolate and a faint trace of dry smoke. Soft brown sugar with some saltiness and a touch of roasted pineapple. Finish: Grassy and herbal with hints of hay, sage, oregano and fresh cut grass.
