Semi translucent bright crimson red colour with crimson mauve hue. Perfumed aromas of dark cherries, violets, earthy cedar and game followed by some spice end notes. Light to medium weight the palate delivers excellent power all within an elegant framework. Flavours of dark cherries, ripe strawberries and spice with some gamey cedar characters on the back palate. Velvet smooth tannins impart a supple mouthfeel. Long aftertaste of dark cherry, spice and gamey cedar.
