This Domaine, regarded by many as one of the finest white Burgundy estates, is run by husband and wife team Jean-Marc Blain and Claudine Gagnard along with the assistance of their son Marc-Antonin. Approximately 30% new oak is used in the production of the Grand Cru white wines.

Brilliant pale straw colour with pale gold edges and watery hue. Exotic and rich the nose displays intense aromas of light butterscotch, peach, honeycomb, spicy oak and lees. Full and rich the palate delivers mouthfilling flavours of honeycomb, spice and toasty oak followed by some butterscotch and cashew on the back palate. Creamy mouthfeel. Excellent length with long honeycomb, cashew, roast almond and spice aftertaste.
Drink over the next 4-5 years. (2011-2016)
Alc 13.5%
