Opaque black dark red colour with dark brick red hue. The nose exhibits ripe dark cherry and blackcurrant aromas overlayed by some cedar, earthy leather and spice. Medium bodied and with an elegant mouthfeel the palate has flavours of blackcurrant, cedary cigar box, earth, subtle leather and spice. Dryish, slightly chalky finish but fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of blackcurrant, cedary cigar box, earth and spice.
