Notes from the bottlers... Croftengea is the name used by Loch Lomond for it’s peated malt. This one's being finished in sweet sherry casks. Nose: Contrasting aromas of brown sugar, cinnamon, iodine and star anise. Taste: A chunky dram - great weight and balance. Lovely sherry cask influence - treacle, stewed raisins and sultanas, dark chocolate - all against a backdrop of soft, lightly medicinal peat. Finish: Lingering, sweet and smoky. 56.4% Alc./Vol. Non chill filtered.
