Thin and slightly varnishy in the initial pass, but develops with suggestions of Ovaltine, peppermint rock lollies, light sponge cake and ripe orchard fruits (apricot / pear?) Superb mouth-feel: Beeswax, honey, pear drops and a touch of cream. Succulent, oily, exceptionally pure. Goes long. Delicious whisky. 54.1% Alc./Vol.
