A whisky with a complicated history having spent time in three different casks at three different distilleries in three states over an 18 year period. Essentially it's a triple cask, unpeated single malt distilled at Tasmania Distillery (Sullivan's Cove) in 1999, sold to New World Distillers (now Starward), then bottled by Old Young's in Western Australia, which makes it more-or-less an independent bottling. Ex-Bourbon barrels, First Fill Ex-Apera and Ex-Muscat maturations were employed at each stage, respectively, delivering a whisky with remarkable colour saturation. Just 99 bottles were bought to market in 2018. Labelled as cask #HH0066, it comes non-chill filtered at a natural strength of 59.2% ABV.
