1996 Cadenheads Small Batch Loch Lomond 21 Year Old Cask Strength Single Malt Scotch Whisky (700ml)

Like the 1997, this '96 distillate was matured in two Bourbon barrels, this time yielding 450 bottles. Notes from Cadenheads say to expect aromas of caramel, oak aged Chardonnay and agave syrup followed by flavours of lemon curd, vanilla custard, lime marmalade then mint. The finish offers lemon meringue pie, cashew nuts and clotted cream. Sounds like the Bourbon casks have really made their mark! 51.5% Alc./Vol. Non chill filtered. Very limited stocks.
