Tasting note: Flawless bright gold appearance. Moderate aroma opens with marshmallow, vanilla and leather handbag developing to dried pear and hints of fig jam in the later passes. Follows through in the mouth with a purity and poise that is absolutely first rate. Vanilla heavy at mid palate, this rounds off with a fruity / vanilla accent and hints of marshmallow in the fade while retaining all the delicacy associated with this distillery. The high ABV is an added bonus. A genuine cask strength beauty. 54.4% Alc./Vol.
