A Longmorn matured in a Sherry cask for 22 years with an out turn of 232 bottles.
Tasting note: Deep brass gold. Gorgeous, thick wafts of caramel fudge, smokey honey and ripe cantaloupe-like fruitiness over vanilla malt and toasty cereals. Mildly bittersweet attack is spiced up yet pure; mid palate is gently tingly with pepper and toasted cereals followed by a sprinkling of sugars in the form of added vanilla and honey. Muesli to finish. Medium long - a little tannic and firm in the final stages. Always a pleasure to experience Longmorn at natural strength. 51.8%
