Tasting note: Polished copper. Smoked almonds, water biscuit then later suggestions of dates and strawberry sponge cake. Aeration further accents the sweet notes with hints of honey and cocoa in the mix. Delicious! Mildly bittersweet, filling out with intense spicy dried fruits by mid palate. Finish is the feature with a surge of juicy malt, baking spice and sponge cake sweetness. Moderate length with the tannins closing in early. Brawny for this distillery.56.8% Alc./Vol.
