Tasting note: [10ml sample] Pours like young Chardonnay - incredible colour after four decades in barrel. Lazy, waxy aromas hint at pine shoots, aniseed honey? 2-3 minutes develops a heavier, malty aspect before fresh cut cedar comes to the fore... The definition fades then recovers several times. An ethereal delivery that almost defies descriptors; melted wax, old books, again, pine shoots... later sponge cake, tea biscuits and sweet woody notes... Not super long, but the freshness is extraordinary. Hauntingly beautiful. 10ml is enough to make you feel glad you're alive. 51.6% Alc./Vol. Extremely limited.
