1974 Ardbeg Cask Strength Single Malt Scotch Whisky (700ml)

An incredibly rare, highly collectible and rather legendary bottle of vintage Ardbeg, bottled at natural cask strength. Well known whisky blogger, Serge, from WhiskyFun.com awarded this an astonishing 95 points - a big number by his standards.

This bottling from cask 3309 was filled on 12th July 1974 and bottled on the 31st August, 2006 after 32 years of maturation in x-Bourbon casks. It represents Ardbeg as it was prior to the Glenmorangie takeover in 1997. We have one only to sell. 52.5% Alc./Vol.
