An interesting Cote du Rhones blend of Grenache Blanc, Clairette and Bourboulenc that has plenty of textural appeal and generosity. Bright straw colour with a very pale straw almost water like hue. The nose exhibits ripe pear and honeysuckle aromas followed by Jonathan apple and a hint of quince. Slightly richer and fuller than the La Ciboise Blanc the palate is generously flavoured with ripe pear and honeysuckle flavours alongside some baked apple with a dry spicy finish. Well balanced acidity counteracts the full textural feel. Aftertaste of ripe pear, honeysuckle and spicy baked apple. An excellent introduction to the whites of Cotes du Rhone.

This is a fairly basic Soave from Monte Tondo in north eastern Italy. Made entirely from garganega, it has a herbal aroma with lemon undertones. The palate is dry with no oak and is ready to drink now.

Delicious pear, fresh apple and lime fruits have a rounded pebble stone like mouthfeel with elements of slate and infusions of fresh herbs chiming in on the back half. Finishes dry and brisk with a medium length aftertaste.
