Tasting note: Deep copper colour with a reddish blush. Subdued aromatically, gradually releasing hints of cocoa, brown sugar, becoming more fruit accented (stewed apple / pear) in subsequent sniffs. Gains a point in the final inspection as the nose deepens and richens. Generous juicy malt and dried fruit flavours mingle in the creamy and perfectly poised delivery. Finishes with mocha, roasted nuts and toasty fruit 'n'nut cereals. Big Sherry factor in this Clynelish. Really delicious malt. 57.1% Alc./Vol.
