The Arran The Devils Punch Bowl Chapter 2 Angels & Devils Cask Strength Single Malt Scotch Whisky (700ml)

The new release of the "Devil's Punch Bowl' is sourced from just under thirty different casks, mostly x sherry hogsheads, the rest Bourbon barrels and four of those containing peated whisky - unusual for Arran. Very limited stocks.

Review of a previous batch... 6,660 bottles of The Devil’s Punch Bowl have been released, and the component whiskies come from 24 casks filled between 1996 and 2006. They include a number of sherry butts, and some peated spirit is included in the mix. The nose offers soft, mellow malt, dried fruits, and milk chocolate. Silky smooth and deceptively drinkable at full strength, the palate is nutty and notably fruity, with ginger and brittle toffee. A hint of barbecue sauce in the sweet finish. 88 points
