Svensk Smultron Wild Strawberry Flavoured Vodka (700ml)

Svensk Vodka was founded in 1996 after the prohibition of private companies from producing spirits was repealed in order to bring Sweden in line with E.U. regulations. As such, Svensk is the first private producer of spirits in Sweden since 1917. The flagship product is Svensk’s “Lake Vattern Vodka” which forms the basis of each of the flavoured versions. The design of each bottle is influenced by Swedish minimalism, inspired by Lake Vattern and the Swedish light.

Tasting note: A flavoured vodka leaning towards confection rather than purity of fruit flavour, but redeemed by the quality and dryness of the spirit. Clear. Super ripe, candied strawberry nose. Creamy, light to medium body with the flavour and texture of a strawberry milk shake, only more intense. Dry finish with a nice spirit burst, followed by a pleasant strawberry milk fade. 40%Alc./Vol.
