Originally released exclusively for Japan (a country where age statements help to sell bottles), this 13 Year Old, is as the sub title suggests, selected from the distiller’s favourite reserve, barreled at lower proof and matured on the low floors of the fabled B warehouse. Here, cooler temperatures and greater air circulation combine to drive the alcohol content down and slow the aging process. (Reportedly Wild Turkey Master's Keep is sourced from a similar level).
