Tasting note: Bright gold. A light fragrance of citrus blossom with hints of vanilla wafer; feels grain heavy. Air contact draws out an attractive fruity edge. Quite flavoursome, with a nice burst of vanilla and toasted cereals at the finish – some dried fruits too. Ends crisp, balanced. This is rounder and softer with less alcohol flare compared to the Bourbon barrel bottling. Drinks like a solid Scottish blend. 43% Alc./Vol.
