1996 was the 35th anniversary of "Private Eye", the UK's number one selling news and current affairs magazine. To commemorate the occasion they commissioned this bottling, exclusively for subscribers. The label features artwork by the magazine's then illustrator, Ralph Steadman, also famous for his work in various wine publications.

From an outturn of 5000 individually numbered bottles, we have bottle No. 1061. The whisky itself is a vatting of various ages, but includes one cask of 36 year old filled in 1961. Extremely collectable. 40% Alc./Vol.
