Macallan describe Aera as a whisky to "...celebrate life's most unforgettable moments". Like several other NAS Macallans, this follows a tradition of being predominantly matured in a combination of x sherry European and American oak casks. Reports have it to be a full bodied, sherry-led style with aromas and flavours of dried fruits, honey and chocolate.
