The Lark Distillery 2023 Christmas Cask Release Single Malt Australian Whisky (500ml)

A limited edition based on the award-winning recipe of the 2022 Christmas cask release. Maturation takes place in Port and Sherry casks followed by a finishing in Frogmore Creek's red wine barrels seasoned with Jean Pascal's fruit mince pie jus. The outturn was 2588 bottles. 44.6% Alc./Vol.

Notes from the producers... Nose - Caramelized orange slices dusted with nutmeg and brown sugar, a festive aroma laced with dried fruits and a touch of lemon zest. Palate - Rich toffee arrives on the palate with sweet marzipan and baked apples, developing towards fresh gingerbread doused with vanilla cream and cinnamon. Finish - Heartwarming, buttery and joyful.
