The Gospel Projects Wheated Rye Whiskey (700ml)

The Gospel return to the wheated road in this limited edition Project Release where their signature Mallee Rye is bridled by the softness of Malt Wheat and the subtle sweetness of Crystal Wheat Malt. Nosing uncut finds aromas of toasted grains, baked apples, hints of moist orange spice cake and late vanillas. The palate is spirity, tight-knit and feels a bit restrained; Add a few drops of water or a little ice to experience this whiskey at its best - the heat drops several notches, the mouthfeel relaxes and expands, the spicy grains turning to soft coffee cake and muesli. Whichever way, it's one of the punchiest ryes released from this distiller to date. 51% Alc./Vol.

Notes from the producers... The nose is reminiscent of candied apples and cherry cola, and the palate is rich with allspice and nutmeg taking centre stage. A bold yet composed whiskey, best shared with friends.
