Exclusively bottled for the UK, this bronze coloured malt enjoyed initial ageing for over 8 years in ex-Bourbon barrels before a finishing period of approximately 42 months in specially selected Marsala casks. A fortified wine produced on the Italian island of Sicily, Marsala barrels contribute richness, resulting in a well-rounded malt bursting with sweet fruits and caramel, leading to a velvety mouthfeel and long finish. Bottled at 48%, with no added colouring and without chill-filtration.

Other reviews... The mouthfeel is good with a decent body to it - the taste reminds me of dark chocolate, cortado, but a hint of white pepper at the death. A decent dram where I got a decent note of chocolate - would probably go well with a decent porter or stout and a decent cheese board. Well worth trying a dram. - whiskybase.com
