Not only was the whisky awarded a Gold Medal at Whisky Magazine’s World Whiskies Awards 2024, it was also named Category Winner for the Best Scotch Islay Small Batch Single Malt. Matured in refill ex-Bourbon & refill ex-Sherry octaves before bottling non chill filtered at 45.8% Alc./Vol.

Other reviews... At the palate the smokey notes of peat are clear and rich, they give the whisky a sort of "oily" texture, creamy even. The finish brings back the salty smokey notes felt at the notes with echoes of sweet fruits. Very enjoyable experience, a bottle of this whisky that should be in every peat enjoyer's cabinet, delicate but with character and surprisingly balanced.
