Located in Moonah, Hobart, the Tasmanian Moonshine Company (aka 'The Devil's Distillery') commenced operation in 2016 and already has a range of products available. Founder, Brian Hinson, also oversees production using an 1800 litre wash still.
Tasting note: Fabulous purity with super soft aromas of barley, marshmallow, vanilla and touches of poached pear fruitiness. Succulent mouthfeel supported by sweet spice and orchard fruits. Great young malt. A distillery to look out for. 43% Alc./Vol.
