Tasmanian Independent Bottlers Old Kempton Distillery Release 7 Bourbon & Sherry Cask Single Malt Australian Whisky (500ml)

An interesting bottling in that it combines two casks, Redlands release No.7 was majority matured in x bourbon barrels with approximately 10% drawn from Oloroso sherry casks. Bottled in October 2018 at 51% Alc./Vol.

A new Tassie venture, in September 2016, Redlands sowed their first crop of barley in their new home at Kempton, continuing a paddock-to-bottle philosophy. x Pinot Noir and fortified wine casks are typically employed with water transported from the Plenty River. Headed by Dean Jackson, the distillery remains one of a handful worldwide to grow and process its own barley.
