Scarlet Radice Amaro (700ml)

Founded in 2021 by veteran bartender Tatsuya Motonaga, Iseya Distillery is located in a renovated century-old farmhouse near Lake Sagami, Kanagawa. The Scarlet project focuses on "Japanese Amaro," utilizing over 30 botanicals, many estate-grown without pesticides or sourced from local farmers, to create spirits that reflect Japanese terroir. Every step, from harvesting and maceration to hand-labeling and bottling, is performed without automation to preserve the structural integrity and natural sediment of the raw ingredients.

Latin for root, Radice is a root-forward digestivo featuring angelica, chicory, and specifically with the 2025 release, Angelica keiskei roots from Hachijo Island. This 30-botanical blend is accented by fresh bergamot and black cumin, resulting in a complex, earthy profile inspired by the traditional Rabarbaro style of Piedmont.
