Sawanotsuru 100 Nin No Kikizakishi Junmai Sake (720ml)

Founded in 1717, Sawanotsuru is one of Japan’s oldest breweries. Their 100 Nin No Kikizakishi is crafted from premium Yamada-Nishiki rice and presented as a Junmai Nama Genshu—unpasteurised, undiluted, with a 70% polishing ratio. Produced using advanced ultrafiltration, it pours brilliantly clear, with a crystalline purity that carries through to the nose. Aromas are delicate and restrained, showing faint hints of green melon and nougat. The palate follows suit, understated yet refined, with subtle notes of white strawberry, yoghurt, and nougat emerging on closer inspection. A sake of quiet elegance and refreshing clarity, best enjoyed chilled.
