Red Door Highland Gin (700ml)

Made at Benromach (a distillery better known for their single malt whiskies). The botanical selection is inspired by Scotland’s mountains, forests and coastal fringes and features the likes of bitter orange, sea buckthorn, heather and rowanberries alongside the requisite juniper. Distilled in an affectionately named copper pot still, ‘Peggy’, Red Door is created using the vapour-infused method, which steams the neutral base spirit through the botanicals.

Tasting note: Clear. Dry and spicy aromas include coriander seed and white pepper over juniper, orris root and refreshing citrus peel. Medium to full bodied flavours of juniper, citrus and coriander with a peppery attack. Ends grassy, spicy, lean, crisp and medium long. Juniper and bitter peel aftertaste. 45% Alc./Vol.
