Collectors have "The Rare Cask Society" on their radars, with the first edition fast sold out. This second release is another tiny outturn (just 143 bottles) drawn from the last remaining cask from a closed distillery in South Australia.

Tasting note: Aged 5 years in an American Oak Port cask. Deep amber. Very intense on the nose with prunes, raisin cake, plum-pudding and dense vanillas. Air contact dries the nose-feel adding bitter dark chocolate, wood spice and hints of oak shavings. A bittersweet edge to the malt, but develops creaminess towards the finish. Long and thick with fruit'n'nut chocolate and Turkish Delight through the aftertaste. 53% Alc./Vol. Non chill filtered.
