Pommery Blanc de Blancs Champagne
Pours with a buoyant frothy white mousse which dissipates to reveal a pale straw, pale gold base colour with a very fine and persistent bead. The nose shows a shade more intensity than the Brut Royal delivering aromatics of yeast lees and baked bread over some cashew, subtle dried honey and brioche. Fresh and lively with an underlying richness and creamy mouthfeel flavours of bready yeast lees subtlety infused with citrus and toast flow across the palate followed by nuances of cashew and toast. Dry finish with a long baked bread, yeast lees, subtle toasted honey character, cashew and citrus aftertaste.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
