Other Reviews....
Fine and satiny in texture, this harmonious version offers lightly juicy acidity and flavors of dried cherry, whole-grain toast, spun honey and pickled ginger. Smoke-tinged finish.

Alison Napjus - Wine Spectator (2019)

The NV (2016) Rosé Albane is fabulous, but it needs at least several hours to truly blossom, as it is very reticent upon opening. Bright cranberry, mint, white flowers, chalk and sweet rose petal give the Albane striking aromatic nuance and tons of sheer appeal. What a pretty wine it is. The blend is 55% Chardonnay and 45% Meunier, done as a saignée.

Antonio Galloni's Vinous (November 2020)

Based on the 2015 vintage and blending Péters's Chardonnay with a saignée of Pinot Meunier from René Geoffroy, the latest rendition of the NV Brut Rosé for Albane bursts with complex aromas of red apples, pomelo, fresh mint, licorice and shrimp shell. On the palate, it's medium to full-bodied, delicate and incisive, with a delicate phenolic presence and a sneakily persistent finish. Péters contends that the tannins of Pinot Noir would amplify the austerity of Le Mésnil, hence his decision to work with Pinot Meunier.

William Kelley - Robert Parkers Wine Advocate (August 2019)

Very pretty pale orangey pink.Victoria plum fragrance. Light and fruity but with drive and length, and excellent freshness, showing well after the time in bottle and a fine fine grip on the finish.

Julia Harding - Jancis Robinson (June 2017)

A fascinating rosé delivered in a playful, strident pink format, it has all the fine red fruits and fragrant rose-like perfume you could wish for. Alluring sherbet-like creamy texture and fresh strawberry and raspberry fruit flavors that hold long. Drink now.
