Other Reviews....
The NV Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru Extra Brut is entirely from the 2014 vintage and was sourced in four parcels of the Côte des Blancs. Opening with potted ginger and white flowers on the clear, fresh, precise and chalky nose, this is a pure, fresh, elegant, beautifully dry and chalky grand cru with an expressive, stimulating iodine-inflected finish that reveals a persistent structure and freshness. This is a damned serious and chalky Blanc de Blancs that was disgorged in January 2018 with just two grams of dosage. Tasted at the domaine in April 2018.

Light, transparent nose. Very readable and transparent wine. Lifted with an impact that builds on the finish but is almost unnoticeable on the nose initially. So, so different from the Moëts just tasted! This is a sort of Chablis of Champagne … but is not uncomfortably dry and tart with a light yeastiness on the finish. There's something distinctly floral about it. Even pretty. Though it's not cheap.

The 2014 Extra-Brut Blanc de Blancs is another fine example of the vintage. Creamy and open-knit, with soft contours, the 2014 offers plenty of near to medium-term appeal. The lemon confit, almond and dried flower notes are finely knit. The Blanc de Blancs is the first release of the same wine that will be sold as L’Esprit with higher dosage next year for the US and other countries. The Blanc de Blancs is mostly destined to Scandinavian markets and is the only wine in the Péters range that is sold as an Extra-Brut. Disgorged December 2017. Dosage is 2 grams per liter.

Actually a (non-disclosed) vintage Champagne released earlier than is conventional, it is a blend of four parcels in the four Grand Cru villages of Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, Oger, Avize and Cramant. This has exotic, ripe and expressive peach, mango and melon fruits, leading to a palate bursting with fleshy, flavorsome stone fruits and ripe mango. Exuberant style. Drink now.
