Never Never Distilling Co. Dark Series Southern Strength Juniper Freak Gin (500ml)

"Dark Series" represents Never Never’s small batch experimental spirits. Over time, the plan is to retain some of these as part of the core range. Others may be one offs. Sub labelled “Juniper Freak”, this high strength edition represents a limited run of just under 200 bottles.

Tasting note: [Batch 4 tasted] One of the biggest gin bouquets of the year... Earthy, piney juniper in the most dense form imaginable, backed up by pepper and herbal-menthol freshness. Keeps on giving after 4-5 minutes in the glass with nuances of lime peel and orris root. This saturates the tongue with a creamy, cool-mint fresh, juniper dense attack and a cleansing, drying, super long finish. Mild alcohol flare, with anise cleverly woven through the aftertaste.
