Nautilus Brut Cuvee

The Nautilus Cuvee Marlborough is an excellent example of New Zealand Methode Champenoise. Made from predominantly Pinot Noir with a lesser Chardonnay component. The wine has a welcome fullness and richness of flavour. Bright pale straw colour with excellent fine profuse bead. The nose is a real delight with the strong aromatics of yeast lees and toasted bread being dominant. Full bodied creamy texture. The palate displays very pronounced toasted nut, biscuit and yeast lees flavours. Excellent length and persistence with long aftertaste and clean but balanced acid finish. Cellar 2-3 years.
