Momoiro Inko is unlike anything else in the sake category. A sweet, sour, and smoky sake created specifically to pair with meat and BBQ dishes. Available only in Australia.

Bright lemon-gold in the glass, signaling a bold and powerful style. A wonderfully wild and engaging nose, loaded with intense notes of smoked meats, beef jerky, and bacon fat, softened by a hint of glazed pear in the background. More rugged on the palate however, leaning into stark elements of charcoal and camphor rather than the savory smoked meats promised by the nose. It finishes with a touch of coarseness and rustic bitterness, making it an eccentric, boundary-pushing curiosity. Despite its unusual profile, it would make for a highly original pairing alongside sticky BBQ ribs.
