Milagrito Ven A Mi Reposado Mezcal (750ml)

A Reposado style Mezcal produced by the Milagrito company under 'Ven a Mi', using traditional methods and aged for seven months in white oak barrels.

Tasting note: Pale straw colour showing some minor sediment floating in the glass. Opens with aromas of struck match, barbeque fuel and smoked herbs evolving more delicate scents of char-grilled capsicum, brine, vinyl, candlewax and incense after several minutes air contact. A light entry leads into a medium bodied, semi sweet profile including brine, wax and mustard-like flavours with flashes of chilli chocolate towards the finish and a profoundly long aftertaste that fades and rebounds as varnish, beeswax, smouldering pine, lanolin and more.
