A cut above many big brand XOs. Highest recommendation.
Tasting note: Bronze gold in colour, this 100% Grande Champagne VSOP is finer and more elegant on the nose than Trijol's entry level equivalent. Leaning towards exotic notes of nectarine, white peach and cigar box, it's superbly harmonised in the mouth, showing great persistence, climaxing in a medley of dried figs, honey, dark chocolate, orange zest, white pepper and rancio. A refined, elegant VSOP that's as good (or better) than many big brand XOs. Highest recommendation. 40% Alc./Vol.
Notes from the producer...Golden yellow. Vanilla, spice and some dried fruit on the initial aromas. Well-structured body with a light and elegant touch. Finishes well with a little tickle of fire from the spirit. 40% Alc./Vol.
