Presented under a crown seal, this Sparkling red is made from a blend of 87% Merlot, 11% Shiraz and 2% Mataro. The head is impressive, creamy mousse colour with long staying power. Fine bead with excellent persistence. Crimson base wine. On the nose aroma of leather and plum followed by a hint of spice. Creamy palate, dryish tannins moderating the ripe liquorice and plum flavours. Long aftertaste of liquorice and plum.
