A great whisky: smoky, light wood notes, some dark fruits (blackberries, raspberries, maybe a hint of cherry), leather, and even a slightly medicinal, maritime note that emerges now and then. ...nose is super heavy leather, sherry, sweetness and peat, color is exceedingly dark as well, at 46% the taste is stronger for abv, and sits on the top front of the tongue for a while, tons of prune, sherry, a bit of warm baking spice, finishes with peat, oil and SB funk, exhaling smoky fire but low temp, excellent pour, not quite the 21 but still worth every penny. - whiskybase.com
