'Cairdeas', Gaelic for friendship was first offered circa 2009. It was a limited release from Laphroaig, produced from a blend of 'over aged' whiskies matured using Laphroaig's 'quarter cask' method. This one's a special cask strength edition for the 'Friends of Laphroaig' who attended the Islay Whisky Festival in 2014. Matured in Bourbon barrels before finishing in Amontillado sherry casks, it's now considered highly collectible. 51.4% Alc./Vol.
