A fruit brandy produced from raspberries. Crystal clear with a slightly glycerous appearance. Aromas are intense and syrup-sweet with very ripe raspberry notes and brown sugar / molasses undertones. A little confected. The palate is fresher than the nose suggests; semi sweet to begin with; ripe raspberry flavours and gently warming spirit. Turns dry, clean and mildly acidic with a delicate mixed berry fade. 40% Alc./Vol.
