While Krug's Rose Edition wines are non-vintage, Krug prefers to call them multi-vintage given they use a large proportion of reserve wines in the blend. This 24eme Edition Rose is a blend of 22 wines from 7 vintages back to 2006, with the base wine hailing from the excellent 2012 vintage. The base wine comprises 29% of blend, while 71% of reserve wines are used from 6 older vintages stretching back to 2006.

Other Reviews....
A very vinous rosé with sliced strawberry and peach aromas and flavors with a steely undertone. Hints of cream and biscuit. It’s medium-bodied, tight, linear and precise with pinpointed structure that goes straight to the center palate and carries on through the long finish. Very fine tannins provide drive and length. Drink or hold.

Elaborated with 71% of reserve wine (seven different vintages, 2006 to 2012) and with 11% of red wine, this Krug rosé 24e Édition possesses an elegant, yet complex nose of peony, rose, raspberries, blackberries and some lemon hints. Touches of pepper with aeration. On the palate, the texture is dense and balanced, moderately weighted and very aromatic (rose, strawberry and spring flowers). This is a superb Krug rosé that gives the impression of aerial lightness on the long finish. Dosage: 6g/L
