Jenssen Carte Blanche XO Cognac (700ml)

The Jenssen Vineyard, Le Maine Pertaubaud is located in the heart of Grand Champagne – being considered as the 1st growth of Cognac. The Carte Blanche XO Cognac is aged between 10 and 16 years with the average age being 12 years. This is the start of the Jenssen collection – and we must say an impressive one.

Orange gold colour with deep orange heart and tinges of olive green on the meniscus. The nose delivers a very spicy, spirited lift with a welcoming degree of heat emerging on the end. The refined spirit is evident on the palate although nearly perfectly balanced, has a delightfully restrained degree of aggression that is counterpointed by spicy heat and nuances of new leather. Perfect balance, with a very long and warm spicy aftertaste. Magnificent aggression.
