Itinerant Spirits Gallivanter Wild Botanical Gin (700ml)

Weighs in at just above 40% ABV but delivers a generous gin bouquet of mixed citrus, dried herbs (tarragon, sage?) followed by crushed pine buds and bush pepper. Creamy, accessible entry develops to a medium to full bodied middle, repeating those piney-juniper accents with spikes of pepper and a vibrant lemon-thyme finish. Lots of personality on its own, this should equally lend itself to mixing. 42% Alc./Vol. Batch #5 tasted.

Notes from the producers... A juniper-forward gin with big citrus hits of creamy lemon, mandarin, and grapefruit up front are rounded out with aromatic pepper. Fresh citrus notes from the inclusion of Lemon Drop Wax foraged from the Grampians region is balanced with sweetness and warm spice, giving this gin a well-rounded mouthfeel and smooth after taste.
