Tasting note: Made from hand-foraged botanicals from the Isle of Arran, the distillation and bottling takes place on the mainland not too far from Edradour. On the nose, it's a curious arrangement of potpourri combined with ginger bread, cinnamon, white pepper and frail nutmeg; air-time adding hints of nettles, seashells and low key grapefruit. The dryish delivery finds earthy juniper and lavender with crushed pine buds and pepper developing through the finish. The result is a slightly disjointed coastal style. Odd yet interesting. Try it with Rose Lemonade or Mediterranian Tonic. 42% Alc/Vol.
