An Aussie take on the traditional French aniseed flavoured aperitif. Hurdle Creek infuse grain spirit with a selection of traditional pastis botanicals combined with two Australian representatives: Aniseed Myrtle and Mintbush.
Tasting note: Mildly cloudy, pale straw gold with good cling. Concentrated and pure aromas of anise, fresh liquorice strap, menthol and spearmint. Creamy entry is followed by mouthfilling anise / liquorice root flavours and tongue nipping spices. Finishes medium fresh, liquoricey, spearmint-like and with good persistence. 45.4% Alc./Vol.
