Holyrood Height of Arrows Bright Gin (700ml)

A bold and fascinating gin created using just three ingredients: Juniper, Isle of Skye sea salt and beeswax. Managing Director of Holyrood Distillery, Nick Ravenhall comments, “...we have made a gin that is distilled from our DNA as whisky makers. In whisky making we work with simplicity. Barley, water and yeast. We’ve taken this same mind set to Height of Arrows and created a complex gin born from juniper alone taking centre stage. Employing a multi-shot distilling technique that concentrates botanical flavours, Holyrood include over three times the juniper found in their 'Original' Height of Arrows gin. Bottled at a generous 48% ABV, what you end up with is a spirit that's big, bright and bursting with complexity.

Other reviews... Height of Arrows Bright is very much the ‘big sister’ to Original. It has similar tasting notes but much more vibrant and… well… bright!... ...Nose: Bright, resinous and piney with plenty of summery citrus – a ray of sunshine. Palate: Well-rounded texture with a good, balanced character. There are notes of juniper, coriander, floral rose, peppery spice, and a little of the citrus from the nose. Cleanly distilled with a pleasant and enticing touch of sweetness. Finish: Hints of sweet spice accompanied by long, lingering notes of pine and peppercorns.
